Alcatel Blaze Duo OT-918N: A Smartphone Worth Buying

As far as I can remember, Alcatel was one of the famous mobile brands way back before Nokia and other leading brands rose to fame in the Philippine mobile scene. They were large phones, and I can even remember my cousin owning one. But then, when these other brands entered the market, we no longer heard anything about Alcatel. Also, many people think Alcatel as a Chinese brand, which is not really the case as its company is in France and almost all phones are made in China!! But I know Alcatel had a partnership with TCL (which is a Chinese company) to manufacture their phones. And now, they're 100% back in the Philippines, reentering the mobile scene which they dominate way back.

Alcatel Blaze Duo OT-918N was released here December last year (not sure), and I became really interested in the design of the phone. It's a smartphone actually, running Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and is priced at only P5,999 or less as of today.
