Seeing potholes or "lubak" and damaged roads in Manila is very common. As usual, contractors are not doing their work well, and government officials are enjoying the money on this overpriced road projects.
To straighten the road, as what P-Noy's administration envisions, the Presidential Communications Development and Strategic Planning Office (PCDSPO) launched last Friday "Lutas Butas", a campaign urging Filipinos to report these road problems via social networking site Twitter.
All you have to do is tag PCDSPO's official twitter account (@PCDSPO) with your complaint. Also, add the hashtag #lubak2normal.
These reports will then be compiled through a database maintained by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
So Pinoys, especially those who are tweeting most of the time. everytime you see "lubaks" and damaged roads, tweet the government. Of course, all of us don't want to pass on those holes and bumps, right?
