Nokia 206 launched

Nokia has announced its second new phone today, after Asha 205. A feature phone, the Nokia 206 is the Finnish company's 'feature phone reinvented'.

The Nokia 206 features a large 2.4" 65K QVGA TFT screen (large for feature phones), 10MB user memory that is expandable through a microSD card (up to 32GB), a 1.3MP camera, and GPRS, EDGE, and Bluetooth connectivity. Battery standby is at a whopping 47 days standby!

It will also have the new 'Slam' feature as with the Asha 205, a technology that allows easy sharing of files through Bluetooth without the need of pairing. Facebook, WhatsApp and Ebuddy comes preinstalled as well as the Nokia Xpress browser that will save you from data costs.
On the other hand, the 1.3 MP camera can resize images to fit posting in Facebook. Nokia also has developed an 'intelligent imaging' feature for this device that makes self-portraits focused.

This device will also have a dual-sim variant with Easy Swap technology. it will cost $62 as well (less than PHP 3,000) excluding taxes. Colors are cyan, black, white, magenta, and yellow.
