Along with the Scribe X and the Scribe HD, Alcatel announced their entry for 'the world's thinnest smartphone' contest, the Alcatel One Touch Idol Ultra, at 6.45 mm!
Along with the impressive slimness, the Idol Ultra has nice specs too. It has a large 4.7" Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen which has 312 ppi pixel density, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 8GB internal memory and 1GB of RAM, and an 8MP camera with LED flash, as well as a 1.3MP front camera.
Looks like Alcatel is on a serious move and is still proving that it can match up with top mobile brands, with the announcement of this very thin smartphone. What do you think?
