Alcatel doesn't forget its Android lineup for budget-conscious people too. The French company has announced a new series of One Touch phones, the One Touch Pop series which includes the X'Pop, S'Pop and the T'Pop, all for an affordable price yet with good specs.

The top of the Pop series, the Alcatel One Touch X'Pop packs a 4.5" qHD display, a 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 5MP camera and a front VGA camera. It will run on 4.1 Jellybean.

The Alcatel One Touch S'Pop, on the other hand, sports a 3.5" HVGA display, a 1GHz single-core processor, 512MB of RAM, and a 3.2MP camera as well as a VGA front camera.

The third and the last of the Pop series is the Alcatel One Touch T'Pop which features the same 3.5" HVGA screen, 1GHz single-core processor and 3.2MP camera as the S'Pop, but with only 256MB RAM and will run on 2.3 Gingerbread. This will be just perfect for first time Android users.

The Alcatel One Touch Pop series are quite nice and colorful too. Looks like Alcatel is pushing for the top again, with the release of the high-specced Scribe X and Scribe HD, the Idol Ultra and the Idol, as well as these budget Pop series. What do you think? i'm sure they will come in the Philippines too!
