Acer Liquid C1: Intel Atom-powered Android phone

Acer, together with Intel has just unveiled a new member of the Liquid series, the Acer Liquid C1. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z2420 chipset, the first for the company. The said chipset was just announced last month by Intel at the CES.
Here are the specs of the Acer Liquid C1:
  • 4.3" IPS qHD capacitive touchscreen
    • 540 x 960 pixels, 256 ppi, 16M colors
  • 1.2 GHz Intel Atom Z2420
  • PowerVR SGX540
  • 4GB internal storage
    • expandable with a microSD card (up to 32GB)
  • 8MP rear camera with LED flash and autofocus, 3264 x 2448 pixels
  • VGA front camera
  • 3G/Bluetooth (2.1)/WiFi connectivity
  • WiFi hotspot
  • microUSB 2.0
  • A-GPS
  • accelerometer/proximity sensors
  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
  • 2000 mAh battery
Liquid C1 is expected to be available this February with Thailand getting it first, followed by other South Asian countries. No word if it will come here in the Philippines too.

It will cost about 9,900 Thai Baht or about PHP13,500.
