Android v. 2.3.6 Gingerbread
Dimensions: 115 x 61.5 x 11.9mm
1500 mAh battery

The Gionee Pioneer P1 is a good phone for Android starters: it has a good-enough 1GHz processor. As with his siblings, it's dual-sim and dual-standby. The 1500 mAh battery is capable of lasting up to a day or more if you are a light to moderate user.

On the other hand, Pioneer P1 has only 512MB internal memory (maybe between 100 to 150MB user available) but at least it's expandable. Also, the 256MB RAM may limit your multitasking. There is no front camera so you won't be having any video calls.

Still running in old Gingerbread, P1 may find it hard to compete, especially that most local phones are running at least ICS, or better, Jellybean.
It's now available at Memo XPress for PHP 3,599
