Cherry Mobile Hyper: 5-inch dual-core Snapdragon Android phone for PHP4,999!

Cherry Mobile never fails to surprise everyone with their high spec'd Android phones on a very affordable price. Almost all of their phones are so budget-friendly that you don't have to shed so much money to buy the Android device you've been wanting. The new Cherry Mobile Hyper isn't an exception. With a large 5-inch screen paired with a dual-core Snapdragon processor, this 'phablet' is hard to resist, especially on a price tag below 5K. Specifications coming after the jump.

So there goes the Cherry Mobile Hyper, a perfect phone for those people looking for a phone with a large screen to watch their favorite movies or play games but on a budget. The dual-core processor is sure to deliver satisfactory performance although the 512MB RAM may limit your multitasking. On the software side, this phone could have been much better if it runs Android 4.1 Jellybean out-of-the-box.

Overall it's a nice phone with good specs and camera. It's certainly worth it considering the modest price.
