Cherry Mobile Skyfire 2.0 announced: 5-incher quad-core phone for PHP7,999

Cherry Mobile has just revealed an upcoming mobile that is going to be available in stores starting next week: Skyfire's successor, the Cherry Mobile Skyfire 2.0. This 'phablet' packs a quad-core processor, a large 5" screen, and an 8MP camera,  all for the price of PHP 7,999. More specs coming up.

Another nice budget offering from Cherry Mobile, the Cherry Mobile Skyfire 2.0 is a decent upgrade from the original Skyfire: a bigger screen (now with scratch-resistant protection), more powerful processor and camera, bigger RAM, higher battery capacity, and of course, a newer Android version. And for the price of PHP7,999, who can't resist this powerful device!

Also, according to an article from Yahoo! News Philippines, it's a rebranded Karbonn S5 Titanium from India, which cost translates to PHP 9,000. And we're getting it here at 2K lesser!
