Nokia Asha 501 now available for PHP4,490

Nokia's latest Asha phone, the Nokia Asha 501 is now available on stores nationwide for a retail price of PHP 4,490 (SRP).
The Nokia Asha 501 is the Finnish company's newest full-touch phone and is first to run on the newly designed Asha 1.0 OS.

For a brief specs rundown, the Nokia Asha 501 sports a 3" QVGA TFT capacitive display with 256K colors and is protected with a scratch resistant glass. It has 128MB internal storage  which you can expand up to 32Gb with a microSD card. On the camera side, it has a 3.15 MP snapper at the back. Other specs include WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, FM Radio.

The Nokia Asha 501 is powered by a 1200 mAh battery. It also is dual-sim capable.

What really makes this phone stand out in the crowd is its cute design, the long battery life (47 days standby), and the new OS which has a swipe-based interface, which I guess is just right for the price.

Colors are bright red, bright green, cyan, yellow, white, and black.
