Alcatel One Touch Pixi: 3.5" 1GHz Android phone on Gingerbread

Alcatel Mobile Philippines just introduced their latest mobile phone on their Facebook page, the Alcatel One Touch Pixi. It may not have the latest specs you would find on other entry-level phones today but this could still be a nice option for those who are on a look for a simple and total budget phone, a secondary phone, or something you could give to your kids. More about this phone after the jump.

The Alcatel One Touch Pixi is somewhat reminiscent of the old One Touch Blaze 985N: same screen size, OS version, RAM, and ROM, but lesser on the camera. What makes it better, at least, is that it has a 1GHz processor.

Alcatel Mobile Philippines has not yet revealed the price but I'm sure it should go between 2K to 3K considering those specs.

If you are only after texting, calling, and a little music, with a touch of Android in it, then this device should suffice your needs.

It will be available in white and night sky colors.
