Going backwards is not a good thing, but not for Nintendo, who have just launched the latest member of its consoles, the Nintendo 2DS. Almost the same features with the 3DS but without 3D and the clamshell design, the Nintendo 2DS is what the Japanese company is aiming for users who want to experience the console without having to shed so much money.
As mentioned above, the Nintendo 2DS still packs the same features of his pricier brothers, just without 3D and no more flip design. Meanwhile, 3DS games are all compatible with 2DS and most of DS games.
